Booking Policies
Retainer
A 50% retainer, credited to your total, reserves your date. The retainer is non-refundable once paid, because your date is blocked off and planning for your session begins right away, subject to applicable law and your written agreement.
Balance
The remaining balance is due seven days before your session unless otherwise agreed. Weddings follow the installment schedule in their agreement.
Rescheduling and cancellation
If you cancel or do not attend your session, your retainer is not refunded. You may reschedule with at least 7 days’ notice, and your retainer carries over to the new date. If Devin cancels, including for his own illness, you may reschedule or receive a full refund. If severe weather, serious illness, a venue closure or another event outside anyone’s control prevents the session, please tell us as soon as you can. We will reschedule and your retainer carries over. If we cannot agree on a new date, payments beyond the retainer are refunded.
Delivery
Times are typical and begin after your session or, where you choose images, after your selections are final. Agency digitals and digital comp cards: about 1 week. Executive portraits: 1 to 2 weeks. Portraits, model portfolios, personal branding and mini sessions: 2 to 3 weeks. Boudoir: 2 to 4 weeks. Bespoke fine-art finishes and editorial projects: up to 4 weeks. Weddings: 4 to 8 weeks. Commercial projects, printed comp cards and artwork are scheduled in your agreement or order confirmation.
